Pamela Corrigan (Benzer)
Owner, Wealth Advisor
Pamela Corrigan (Benzer) founded and is the owner of GAAM Wealth Advisors. GAAM has been ranked in the top 3 financial advising firms in the state of TN by Barron’s since the rankings inception in 2009* and Pamela has been ranked in the top 60 women advisors in the entire country since 2014**. Pamela has also been ranked by Forbes in the top 150 in their inaugural ranking of all advisors in the US***. She has been involved in the field of finance for over 20 years and has both her CFP® and CPA designations. While Pamela enjoyed meeting with clients for years, she now focuses on the future of GAAM. Pamela is a graduate of ETSU where she earned her CPA designation.
Early in Pamela’s career she realized that being able to make a positive difference in the lives of others and actually be able to witness the results was the legacy she wanted to leave. For many years she met with individual clients to develop their financial roadmap while designing and maintaining their investment portfolio to meet their goals. Entrepreneurial driven Pamela had never accepted that something couldn’t be done. Pamela designed, engineered, and made it possible for GAAM to become what it is today. Realizing that the power of working as a team could produce far greater results than any one individual, Pamela built GAAM wealth advisors from four single individuals serving clients with one assistant to a team of 20+ individuals working collectively to help clients live their life by design, not by default.
Pamela is passionate about ensuring GAAM always puts the clients interest ahead of the company’s. She has been instrumental in developing GAAM’s systems and processes, designing many of the computer workflows herself. Pamela is incredibly skillful in business management and chairs GAAM’s Technology Committee. She also conceived the idea for GAAM’s institute for Affluent Women. Recently, Pamela developed and regularly teaches GAAM’s “Lifebook” courses which have been a great success. This educational series was developed after Pamela helped several family members and clients deal with issues resulting from the death of a loved one. Pam’s desire to help people and make a positive difference in their lives burns deep inside her and is the driving factor in the decision making at GAAM.
Pamela has been involved in numerous charities but likes to focus on those where she can actually see the difference. With that in mind she has worked with local food banks in AZ and TN and really enjoys helping out with animal rescues.
Pamela and her husband Keith reside in Piney Flats, TN with their four children. (Tonka – Wolf Hybrid, Copper – Ridgeback and Sydney – Boykin Spaniel).
